CREATING SPACE

IN MIND&BODY

The Mindfulness Club

WEEKLY MINDFULNESS CLASSES
COME TO WELL-BEING. Join me for a 40- minute session once a week in Wimbledon SW19 where we sit together and meditate. In addition to guided meditations, there will be discussions about the foundations of mindfulness practice and how to cultivate awareness.
No previous experience in mindfulness meditation is needed to come to these sessions. This is an opportunity to share experiences after a guided meditation, as well as support and connect with each other.
Please note that you are welcome to attend these sessions without sharing anything at all. Caring for your self is at the heart of mindfulness meditation.
THE OVERALL AIM OF THE MINDFULNESS CLUB IS TO OFFER A SPACE TO PAUSE AND BREATHE

Mindfulness Meditation involves consciously bringing your awareness to your thoughts and feelings, without making judgments about them. It is a very simple form of meditation where you focus on your breath coming in and going out of your body, and bringing your awareness to your experience, moment by moment. You come to realise that thoughts come and go, as do feelings. This realisation can be very helpful and freeing, as it creates space to make more considered decisions about how to respond to various events in your life.
Mindfulness meditation works on your wellbeing and is science-based. This is a form of meditation for anyone who wants to live more fully in the moment and cultivate their own well-being.
Your practice, both in the sessions and at home, represents the most important part of the learning process

KIND WORDS:

“Last May I took an 8 weeks mindfulness course with Annette, and from then on I have a tool box filled with easy and precious tricks to make each day count, to find moment of peace, to enjoy simple tasks, to feel connected. I love her kind, soft and gentle way with people and she is always very uplifting and will find a way to help you to restore wellbeing.”

"Annette's style is very empathetic and non-judgmental. I continue to find the mindfulness meditation techniques extremely helpful as a calming influence in day to day life. The mindful movement and body scans are useful tools to help my clients become more in tune with their bodies. I highly recommend the eight-week course."
