So happy to be running a yoga retreat with my friend at 42 Acres in Somerset this February! And now we invite you to come and join us for a weekend away in this magical retreat centre. Nestled in a quiet and secluded location, it is a truly perfect place to relax and regain energy after the long winter months.
Last week we went to visit 42 Acres. I had only seen pictures of it, it looked even better in real life. Driving down the last hill to arrive to the venue felt like entering an oasis of peace. Stepping out of the car, I was hit by the silence and fresh air surrounding me. And then the warm welcome from the staff. It felt energising and spacious just arriving!
Our retreat is called Creating Space, and we will focus on creating space in your mind and body by opening to movement and breath. The yoga sessions will be leading towards creating space for your joints and spine to move more freely, opening and balancing shoulders and hips and releasing tension in your spine. Through mindfulness meditation practice, we will guide you towards more awareness and space for your breath to move freely in and out of your body, providing a sense of calmness and stillness within.
